"These things, these killings aren't supposed to happen in suburbia and rural America." The lament after the Columbine High School massacre in Littleton, Colorado. Another in what seems to be an epidemic of such events. "These things."
These things are only supposed to happen in the "inner-city." Only in "the ghetto." Who thinks up these descriptive phrases - - - "inner-city," "ghetto?" (answer: the same low-life mind-set that dreamed up the phrase "ethnic cleansing" and "hate crimes").
What an undemocratic, elitist outlook this requires. The pretty words followed by ugly things. Don't suppose it's by design, do you? No, that would then have to be a conspiracy.
Let me be so unkind as to remind or inform you that the "inner-city" has been ravaged for years. Where were you? And, it was the name calling that came first. "Inner-city" and "ghetto." Designated and separated from "normal" places, ie., "non-inner-cities" and "non-ghettos," war then could then be made on them.
After the tags had been applied, it was ok for bad things to happen. What do you think happens in such places as "ghettos" and "inner-cities" anyway. Invent the name and the ok is given to lower the standard of behavior. What did you expect would happen when the phrase "ethnic cleansing" started being thrown around? What happened to women when husbands started being "demonized" as "abusers?" Did a lot to help reduce violence didn't it?
Back on point, why the heartland?
Why not? The same cast of scumbags that brought war to the "ghetto" is now and has been for some time trying to start a war all over America. "They" have found a way.
Well, why not the "ghetto?" Let me speculate:
Picture Columbine High School. Looked large in the panoramic shot. How about the center area being closed in? Ever seen that before? How do you suppose they got fresh air to the kids in that center area? Not like the "old" schools where each room had an outside wall with windows that opened to the outside. What do you suppose the usual carbon dioxide, CO2, level was? I know of no instances where the ducts and fans do not exist to force the air in. Trouble is that it is not being done properly, ie., in large enough quantities. It is noisy and some don't like the air blowing on them. Sometimes the ducts get filthy and molds grow. (Molds love CO2. Bet they didn't tell you that).
And, sometimes the authorities don't want to incur the cost of running the system properly.
And, sometimes the authorities want the problems in order to get more funding, grow their empires, and make their parasitic friends who prey upon school kids who are sick or in trouble happy.
Can you still picture that one boy who climbed and fell out of the window? Tell me, was that the kind of window that opened? Or, was it the normal kind these days that don't. I am not sure now, but I think it was broken out.
Maybe the people in the ghettos have the right idea.
Our ancestors cared more for their school children. Why do you suppose schools built before, say 1950, had high ceilings? Why did they have windows that went from close to the floor to almost the ceiling, and why did these windows open at both the top and the bottom? Why was there a transom window over the door to the inside hallway?
Did Columbine have high ceilings or the usual eight foot ones?
You have heard the teachers lamenting about class size haven't you? Well, spin it! That's right - - - read between the lines and change it a bit. Perhaps (as seems very likely) the lament should be about the room size and the bad air inside. It has been, but "they" have kept it from you.
