When talking about the air, always make a distinction between indoor air and outdoor air.

Because of environmentalists and the government, both are now worse (yes, even though the outdoor air looks better).

The indoor air is the greatest threat to our society.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE AIR IS THAT IT HAS BEEN UNNECESSARILY AND HEAVILY LOADED WITH CO₂, but the danger is local - - - not global!

The key word above is unnecessarily. If we could not easily do better or if there were nothing that we could do, I would not speak out. When I look around and examine the scene, I see that not only have we chosen the wrong path, we have squandered the wealth of our country to make the air worse, and we have harmed many people (especially the young) in the process. (Any toxic substance in the air is as if it were two to three times as strong for children, and CO₂ is particularly devastating to male children).

"TO THE CHILDREN". . not . . "FOR THE CHILDREN."

... AND, SO WHAT?
